There are 6 advocates who handle the municipal cases in the High Court, Lower Court, accountability commission and in the special tribunal.

In the special tribunal there are around 338 cases pending disposal.
In Subordinate Courts about 100 cases of civil and 100 cases of criminal nature are pending.
5 cases are pending in the accountability commission.

During the year 2005 – 06, 67 cases were decided by the Tribunal
During the year 2004 – 05, 27 cases were decided by the Hon’ble High Court.
During the year 2005 – 06, 28 cases were decided by the Hon’ble High Court.
The Law Officer monitors the Court cases of the Corporation and assist the advocates in the different courts for drafting replies.
